The Violin and the Artist"I, a lone violin, sit up my ebony stand, my earthen wood chipped like the curved hood of a long-abandoned car.   
Desolate, I insolently disobey the laws of time and experience the grinding yearn to play once more.

TST CH.1I think it was late before I actually got home. All of the lights were off except for the living room light, which stood out almost eerily. Its strange brilliance was like a single star in the heavy backdrop of space, sparkling faintly as I grew closer to the building with each pained step. I had been outside all day, too angry and too sore to even think about returning to this magnificent dump of a house. Even Lina had her lights off, and I frowned as this registered in my mind. Our maid never went to bed until the wee hours of the morning. Realization overtook my sleepy thoughts, and I stared at my simple black, glow-in-the-dark watch. The TST CH.1

TSTThat day began, as any other would have. I awoke to the distant sounds of Church bells, and the sweet, fulfilling smell of freshly baked bread. Upon hearing the soft patting of paws, I prepared myself for what was to come next, because I knew the routine so well that my body was already tensing up, almost unconsciously. And, as expected, a black ball of warm fur landed upon my bare stomach in a wake-up call that would have been very painful if one had not been prepared for it. A sigh escaped my lips as I wrapped my arms around the fluff, still extremely groggy from my scant three hours of blissful sleep. I smiled faintly as the puppy’s tongue TST

Happy news, and good news

Well... I've decided on something that will undoubtedly hurt you guys. I'm not going to post my new book on DeviantArt.
